Mennell Watson & Phillip Miller secure the Gold League Wild Cards for Horse of the Year Show

The two highest placed riders, whom are eligible for British Team selection, on the Gold League during the period of 1st April – 31st July 2017 receive an invitation to compete at Horse of the Year Show and this year’s Wild Cards are awarded to Mennell Watson and Phillip Miller.

Mennell Watson from Solihull, West Midlands and Whisper in the Wind, a 9 year-old British bred bay stallion owned by Euro Sport Horse and Helen van Heyningen, topped the league on 1159.5 points.

Phillip Miller from Harpenden, Hertfordshire with Brendon Stud’s 10 year-old British bred chestnut mare Unbelievable Lady took the second Wild Card after accruing 1139.5 points.
