Pony British Novice at Moores Farm Equestrian

Forty-one starters came forward to contest the first Pony British Novice Second Round of the summer season held on Sunday at Moores Farm Equestrian in Gloucestershire.

With ten qualification places on offer for the Pony British Novice Championship Final which will be held at the British Showjumping National Championships in August, it proved to be a competitive class right down to the final jump off.

Fifteen-year old Ria Comins from Pontypridd, Mid Glamorgan secured top spot on board Sara Williams’ 5 year-old chestnut mare, Elvira. This pair produced a treble clear in an unbeatable time of 37.40 seconds.

10th Amy Williams & Grey Mist – 0/0/4 – 40.98 seconds

NB: Qualifications will be updated pending official grading of results.

The British Showjumping National Championships 2017 will take place during the 8th – 13th August at the National Agricultural and Exhibition Centre (NAEC), Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire.
