Prestige Italia announced as title sponsor of the Big Star Championship

Saddle manufacturer, Prestige Italia, has joined up with British Showjumping to become the new title sponsor of the Big Star Championship. The Championship takes place during the British Showjumping National Championships at the National Agricultural and Exhibition Centre (NAEC), Stoneleigh Park and the 2019 show runs between the 6th – 11th August.

The Big Star Championship, formerly known as the National Six Year Old Championship, was renamed in honour of Big Star’s Individual Gold medal win at Rio 2016. In 2009, at the start of his career, Big Star won the National Six Year Old Championship.

The Prestige Italia story first began in the 1970’s and right from the outset, the aim was to create an innovative product to provide well-being for both horse and rider. The knowledge and techniques used by Prestige Italia have been enriched thanks to the contribution of professionals. Their craftsmen work passionately in accordance with ancient techniques, seamlessly combining them with a spirit of innovation which characterises the lifeblood coursing through the company.

All of Prestige Italia’s products are made in Italy. This means that in terms of materials, technologies and above all processing, everything takes place at their Trissino site, in the heart of the Agno Valley, Vicenza province.

“We are really proud to partner with British Showjumping,” said Prestige Italia President Sandra Stocchetti. “With British Showjumping we have a common goal: excellence.
