Academy Training Report

East and East Midlands Academies have had a busy start to 2014!  Notts/Lincs Academy enjoyed sessions on the 3 Jan at Milton EC with flat work sessions, jumping sessions and on foot clear rounds and jump offs!  Thank you to lead coach Selina Cawkwell, newly appointed UKCC Level 3 coach Amanda Routledge (nee Cole) and to Nic Knowles who helped organise all of the bookings.

Leicestershire Academy had sessions on 4 January with John Steels and worked hard on their NAF 5* booklets as well as becoming very competitive in their on foot jump offs!  It was lovely to see some new faces and also to see some of our club members getting involved with the academy.  Thank you to Amanda Cornforth for organising this training and to John Steels for his enthusiasm and support.

The Houghton Hall Equestrian Centre Northants/Cambs Academy were very lucky to have Pauline Ricketts travel from outside of the region to give them coaching sessions.  It was lovely to see the riders showing some great improvements in just an hour!  Riders are keen to invite Pauline back to the academy training as soon as possible and we will work on arranging this in due course.  Thank you to Houghton Hall for their continued sponsorship and support and to Torie Keen for organising this training.
