Chelsea Skelton International Experience Programme!

Lincolnshire's Chelsea Skelton was one of the riders selected to compete at Bonheiden as part of the International Experience Programme.  Below is a report from Chelsea on her experiences out there!

'After a long travel down to Dover, a crossing to Calais and some confusing instructions as to how to find Bonheiden, we finally arrived on Wednesday 24th September, as part of the International Experience Program (IEP). I jumped in the CSIYH 7 year old classes with my horse, Caramba and was really pleased with how well he jumped after such a long travel and lots of new experiences including a ferry crossing, he came equal first in one class, and just had an unlucky four faults in the other two. I learnt so much whilst out there, with the support of Matt (Lanni) and Corinne (Bracken), who were really enthusiastic and encouraging, and helped with course walks, warming up, and even tacking up when needed, their knowledge helped the members of the IEP with young horses as well as those who jumped their first world ranking classes! The IEP was a fantastic opportunity and I met some really nice people, watched some great jumping and will definitely be looking to compete abroad again!'
