Houghton Hall EC, Northants and Cambs Academy gain clubmark status
Thursday 14 November 2013
We are pleased to announce that the Houghton Hall Northants/Cambs Academy has achieved Clubmark status.
The Academy holds regular training sessions for more than 20 under 21s. The aim of the academy is to encourage young riders to learn and achieve in a fun way and sessions have included course walking/building, team building, emergency equine first aid and the opportunity to complete the NAF 5* awards.
Ruth Tyler (East Midlands Development Officer) said 'it is a pleasure to work with this academy, we are extremely grateful for the support from the sponsors Houghton Hall and we have many more fun sessions planned!
The Clubmark portfolio has been straightforward to complete and shows that we have the correct policies and procedures in place. It also helps us to focus on development and future activities. Thank you to Torie Keen (academy co-ordinator), Mia Korenika (lead coach), Dan Delsart (coach) and Area Representatives Mark Keen and Sue Smith, who have worked hard to ensure that the academy is a success, this achievement is a credit to them all'.
If your academy is looking to gain clubmark status, please contact your Development Officer for further information.
