Leicestershire academy training
Saturday 10 March 2012
Academy training was held at Fir Tree Stud, Lutterworth this morning with British Showjumping Coach, Michael Jones. The groups focussed on accuracy of turns, straightness and their positions before tackling a range of fences including the water jump! It was great to welcome a couple of new riders to the academy. Well done to Charlotte Bird for extreme sticking power when Woody decided to jump twice the height of the fence! Thank you to Charlie Jones for his fabulous hosting skills – we were all very grateful for the teas and coffees! Finally as always, thank you to Amanda Cornforth (Leicestershire Area Representative) for organising this training.
The next academy training will be held on the 29 April, if you would like to join in, please contact Amanda Cornforth on: amanda.cornforth@talktalk.net all under 21s are welcome and all abilities will be catered for.
Some of the Leicestershire academy riders will be giving an update on their academy at the Leicestershire AGM, so please come along on the 3 April for a full update!
