Nottinghamshire’s Keeley Durham wins the British Breeders Award

Last night saw Keeley Durham from Nottinghamshire win the British Breeders Award at the 2015 British Showjumping Awards Ball.

Keeley bred Argento, one of the first progeny by the prolific Arko III and he was produced slowly with top level performance in mind.  John Whitaker has had incredibly success with Argento whom is now 13.  July this year saw Argento, who is owned by John and Clare Whitaker, top the World Breeding Federation for Sport Horses Ranking List, a superb achievement for everyone involved and for British Breeding as a whole.

The ball was held at the St Johns Hotel, Solihull and saw guests celebrate alongside the extremely worthy nominees and winners and was supported by NEXT in addition to Archant Dialogue, The Champagne Cave, Equilibrium Products, Equi-Trek, Foremost Currency Group, Graham Heath Equestrian, Horsezone, Musto, NAF, Nina Barbour, Pellier Noir Photography, Silk and Stem and West Midlands Golf Club.
