Tiiani Baker from Rushden, Northamptonshire tops the British Showjumping East Midlands Region Junior Club League

Nine year old Tiiani Baker, riding Spotty Dot Com is currently heading the British Showjumping East Midlands Region 70cm Junior Club League by 24 points.  British Showjumping’s Club League offers riders the opportunity to compete in classes ranging from 70cm – 1.00m with an aim of qualifying for the National Championships held at Warwickshire’s Stoneleigh Park this summer.

Proud to be heading the league Tiiani says "I really like the club shows, they are great fun”.  Tiiani has owned Spotty Dot Com for a year and calls him ‘Bounty’ at home, she describes him as "a lovely pony, sensitive but very kind.  He likes nothing more than a good gallop out hacking".  With the support of her family on competition days helping her get ready and cheering her on Tiiani says "we always end the day with cheesy chips!"

To qualify for the British Showjumping National Championships riders need to sit within the top 20 on their respective leagues. They will then receive an invitation to join the top 20 from each of the other seven regions to compete at the prestigious event.
