Class Twenty Four The Forest Edge Grand Prix
For Qualified Rider/Horse Combinations from classes 8, 15, 16 & 17.Fences 1.30m Table A9 Two Round Competition. Speed 350mpm.
The best five scores, or, all clear rounds, will go forward to the second round, which will be against the clock. In the event of equality, faults and time will decide i.e. the faster four faulters will qualify. All scores in the first round will be carried forward to the second round. Competitors in the second round will start in reverse order of merit or the slowest four faulter will go first, the faster clear last. If necessary those who do not reach the second round, faults and time in the first round will determine their placings.
If a competitor withdraws from the second round he/she will not be replaced and he/she will receive placing from the first round, however he/she will be placed after those who compete in the second round. At least five prizes have to be awarded.

SHOW RULES
 
  1. Forest Edge Arena has taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid & prevent accidents occurring & must obey the instructions of the owners/agents whether written or verbal.
  2. Forest Edge Arena shall not be liable for any claim in respect of damage, loss, injury or accident to any person, horse or property howsoever caused. It shall be deemed a condition of entry that each entrant has read and understood these terms and conditions and shall indemnify Forest edge Arena or any person acting on their behalf against any legal action arising from such an incident.
  3. No rider under the age of 4 years old permitted.
  4. All entries are on the day & payable at time of booking. All prize money won will be posted within one month of the show.
  5. No refunds will be given once classes are entered.
  6. British Showjumping Rule 76.6 may be applied.
  7. All classes to be judged in accordance with British Showjumping rules.
  8. Judges decision is final.
  9. Hard hats to current BS EN 1384, PAS 015 or ASTM F1163 must be worn & correctly secured whilst mounted.
  10. It is recommended that back protectors are worn whilst mounted.
  11. All stallions must be kept under control at all times & not handled by anyone under 14 years. All stallions must have red/white/blue ribbon in tail.
  12. All droppings to be picked up in the indoor & practice arenas and placed in the wheelbarrow provided.
  13. Lorries must not be mucked out onto car park. Please place droppings, hay etc into trailer provided.
  14. No bicycles or motorcycles, except disabled scooters, anywhere on site.
  15. All dogs must be kept on leads and all dog mess cleaned up.
  16. No ball games permitted at any time.
  17. No fires or barbeques at any time on the premises.
  18. No smoking permitted inside stables, buildings or arena premises.
  19. All children under the age of 16 years must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
  20. All rubbish/litter to be removed from site or placed in bins provided.
  21. Any person who fails to comply with these terms & conditions will be liable to forfeit their fees & expulsion from site.
  22. In the event of any rider travelling to a show on their own, details of a contact should be left with the secretary in case of an accident.

Stable Hire / Electric hook-up Terms and Conditions
 
  1. These facilities are hired for the time specified on this booking form and must be paid for in full at the time of booking.  All fees are non-refundable if cancelled with less than 7 days notice.
  2. All stable hire is on a strictly DIY basis only. All stables must be left clean and tidy and all bedding and droppings to be placed on the muckheap at the end of hire. Stables left dirty will be subject to a £10 cleaning charge.
  3. Straw, shavings, hay and haylage are available at extra cost, to be booked/paid for at time of stable booking please.
  4. Stables are available for occupancy from 12 noon on the first day of hire and must be vacated by 12 noon on the last day of hire, unless otherwise notified. No arrivals after 9.30pm except by arrangement.
  5. A 16amp (blue socket) is required for connection to 8amp electric hook-up points. PLEASE DO NOT OVERLOAD THE HOOK-UPS, DAMAGE CAUSED BY OVERLOADING MUST BE PAID FOR BY THE HIRER.
  6.
