Regional Young Horse Training in September 2013

As a result of the success of British Showjumping’s Equine Pathway programme, we are looking to develop specific Young Horse Training at Regional level in the Autumn.
East Region Young Horse Training has been organised with British Showjumping Accredited Coach Matt Lanni on Thursday 18 September 2013 at Halefield Stud, Woodnewton, Peterborough, PE8 5EG.
Horses will be grouped according to age (from 4yr olds through to 7yr olds) with 4 horses in a group. Each group will have a 1 hour 15 minute session.
- 4 yr olds - must be able to walk, trot and canter freely forward and jump approx 90cm - 1m course
- 5 yr olds - must be able to walk, trot and canter freely, do a simple change and jump approx 1m - 1.10m
- 6 yr olds - must be able to walk, trot and canter freely, do a simple change and jump approx 1.10m - 1.20m
- 7 yr olds - must be able to walk, trot and canter freely, do a simple change and jump approx 1.20m - 1.30m
