Riders from the East region, selected for AASE!

Congratulations to riders in the East (listed below) who have been selected for AASE.  The Apprenticeship is run in partnership with Haddon Training Ltd and allows the opportunity for talented riders to develop their potential as a professional showjumper whilst continuing their education and gaining a level 3 qualification. The Apprenticeship covers all aspects involved in becoming a professional athlete by developing their technical and tactical skills as well as the lifestyle aspect.   The athletes will be supported by top showjumping coaches, sports’ psychologists, nutritionists and fitness experts to help them prepare all aspects within their future professional careers within the Showjumping environment.

The fourth cohort have just started the programme in October, there have been thirty riders selected for this year, these will also have strength and condition coaches working with each individual rider at each camp.

NIssi (pictured) said: 'I was absolutely delighted to be accepted onto the ASSE Course. This is a fantastic opportunity for any young rider. Already I have met some very interesting people and feel that they will be a great advantage to me going forward within this profession. The key skills and learning programme is very informative and the course will be very beneficial to my goal to be a top showjumper.'
