Sportivate Course starts at Milton College!
Thursday 10 April 2014
8 riders started their Sportivate course last night at Milton College with British Showjumping coach, Mia Korenika. The course (subsidised by Cambridgeshire County Sports Partnership) is aimed at non-members aged 11-25 years who want to become more involved with showjumping. Yesterdays sessions worked on the basics including straightness and some small jumps. It is hoped that by the end of the 6 week course, riders will feel comfortable having a go in some of the British Showjumping club classes.
There will be another Sportivate Course towards the end of 2014 at Houghton Hall EC. If you are interested in taking part, please contact Ruth Tyler on ruth.tyler@britishshowjumping.co.uk stating your age, height of horse/pony and height that you are currently jumping.
