The National Amateur Championships 2011 - Well Done to Michaela Huntingdon & Hannah Vincent!!

Aintree International Equestrian Centre have just played host to the British Showjumping National Amateur & Veteran Championships. With riders qualifying throughout the year in classes ranging from 90cm up to 1.15m the turnout was huge. With Aintree always putting on a fantastic show, which the competitors love this year was no different.
The winner of both the National 90cm & 1m Amateur Championships was Michaela Huntington from Braintree in Essex. Michaela rode Andrea Pearman’s 12 year old piebald stallion Drumhowan Cavalier on both occasions.
The National 1.10m Amateur Championship title went to 18 year old Hannah Vincent from Norwich in Norfolk. Hannah partnered her own British Bred 7 year old black gelding Jabberwocky.
