ENTRIES ON THE DAY – Class 1 to start PROMPTLY at 8.30am
ROSSETTES 1ST – 6TH place
 
The following classes are open to unaffiliated non members & Club Members of British Showjumping.   Should a non member gain points, these points may be retained if the non member joins British Showjumping as a Club Member within seven days of this show.
START 8.30am
CLASS 1                     50cm (1ft 7in) – unaffiliated
PONY OPEN and HORSES OPEN - To be run in 2 rounds. All those clear in round 1 will go forward to Round 2 over a timed jump off course.
CLASS 2                     60cm (2ft) – unaffiliated
PONY OPEN and HORSES OPEN - To be run in 2 rounds. All those clear in round 1 will go forward to Round 2 over a timed jump off course.
 
CLASS 3                     British Showjumping Club Horses & Ponies 70cm (2ft 3in) – will not begin before 9.45am for Ponies not exceeding 148cms and Horses exceeding 148cms. Two Phase First Phase Time limit of 2 minutes allowed in the first section of the course.  Club League points will be awarded in Riders own Regional League tables.  
                            
CLASS 4                     British Showjumping Club Horses & Ponies 80cm (2ft 7in)for Ponies not exceeding 148cms and Horses exceeding 148cms.Two Phase First Phase Time limit of 2 minutes allowed in the first section of the course.  Club League points will be awarded in Riders own Regional League tables.                 
            
CLASS 5                     British Showjumping Club Horses & Ponies 90cm (2ft 11in) for Ponies not exceeding 148cms and Horses exceeding 148cms.  Two Phase First Phase Time limit of 2 minutes allowed in the first section of the course.  Club League points will be awarded in Riders own Regional League tables.                 
                 
CLASS 6                     British Showjumping Club Horses & Ponies 1m (3ft 3in) for Ponies not exceeding 148cms and Horses exceeding 148cms. Two Phase First Phase Time limit of 2 minutes allowed in the first section of the course.  Club League points will be awarded in Riders own Regional League tables.                 
Results – Horses and Ponies will be split for each class. Two sets of Rosettes will be awarded.
 
CLASSES 1-4     £6 PER CLASS, CLASSES 4-12   £8 PER CLASS
 
Eligibility - For any horse/ rider,  pony/rider combination without a registered result in National Amateur 90cm, British Novice, Pony British Novice, Stepping Stones  and above in the last 3 years.
 
Pony classes are open to any age rider. Children can ride horses from the beginning of the calendar year in which the age of 12 is reached (FEI Rules).

NB. At Club Competitions the first round or first phase of the competitions, time faults will not be allocated instead there will be a time limit of 2 minutes, competitors who exceed this will incur elimination.
Horses/ponies may only enter once in any class.
 
 
The League will run from 1st June 2011 – 31st May 2012. Club league points will be awarded to horse/pony & rider combinations who must be Club Members of the BS to gain the points. Club league points will be awarded as follows – 1st = 12, 2nd = 10, 3rd = 8, 4th = 6, 5th = 4 & 6th = 3.   3 points will be awarded to all double clear’s including an extra 3 points to prize winners if a double clear has been jumped.
 
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:
1.       The organisers reserve the right to refuse any entries.
2.       Entry fees are non refundable.
3.       Competitors maybe disqualified from the class for causing unnecessary delay.
4.       The BS rules apply throughout.
5.       Any outside assistance or interference by anyone other than an official may incur elimination.
6.       The judges’ decision is final. Objections can be made in writing to the secretary within 30 minutes of the occurrence accompanied by a £20 deposit.
7.       Legal liability Save for death or personal injury by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of any event to which these rules apply, nor any agent, employee or representative of the bodies accept any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land vehicles their contents or accessories or any person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever.
8.       No horses/ponies under the age of 4 are allowed to compete.
9.       Health & Safety The organisers of this event have taken precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective everyone must take all responsible precautions to avoid and prevent accidents and therefore must obey the stewards and officials.
10.    HAT REGULATIONS Hats MUST be worn at all times and correctly fastened whilst mounted. They must be at the required standard PAS 015;1998 , EN 1384;1996, BS EN 1384; 1997 together with the BSI kitemark. Snell E2001, AS/NZS 3838 1998, AS?NZS 3838 2003 with the SAI Global symbol.
11.    Saddlery and dress BSJA rules must be followed with regards to tack on your horse for show jumping. All riders to be smartly dressed in white/beige/cream jodhpurs , correct riding boots and riding jackets (hacking or plain are allowed). No schooling whips.
12.    Practice arena The jump in the practice arena cannot be any higher than the class due to take place. Respect other riders in the arena .
13.    CAR PARK Please clear up any mess in the car park before you leave. Dogs must be left in the vehicle ( so if the weather is hot allow ventilation ). Do not muck out your horsebox/trailer into the car park.
 
The College Equine Yard is a working yard and therefore we would request any visitors ask for a member of staff if they would like a tour of the facilities and to discuss courses
