A successful year for South Cumbrian rider Simon Buckley and his stallion Valentino

28yr old Cumbrian show jumper Simon Buckley, based at Hill Farm Stud, Ings, former European junior gold medal winner and his 6yr old ‘Olympic Pathway’ stallion HFS Valentino
topped off an amazing year with 3rd in the ‘Jo & Co’ final at the Horse of the Year Show on Saturday 8th October.
Their tally for the year include: runner-up in the 6yr old final in Vilamoura, Portugal, National 6yr old & Olympic Star Spotters title at the SCOPE festival and Arena UK’s 6yr old title last month. Valentino will now take a well earned rest before his 7yr old career kicks off on the continent in the New Year.

Simon & his horses are supported by: Equine Products UK for the maintenance of his horses’ health; Equester.com keep them warm & cosy or cool & comfortable; Sue Carson saddles – for the comfort of Valentino’s back & Simon’s posterior! To all of them – THANK YOU
