 WELCOME TO OUR FIRST SHOW AT LANE FARM, INCORPORATING OUR NEW INDOOR ARENA AND SHOWJUMPS; WE HOPE YOU HAVE AN ENJOYABLE EXPERIENCE

PONY CLASSES (All ponies in every class must not exceed 148 cms) 

 Start time:   8.30 am

 CLASS 1  -  ‘WELCOME’ CLEAR ROUND  -  55/60 cms

Rosettes to all clear rounds.  (Club rules do not apply – no points awarded)
£4.00 per round
All clear rounds to be completed by 9.30 am

CLASS 2  -  CLUB 70 cms PONY OPEN (DOUBLE CLEAR)
Table A two rounds.  Time limit of 2 minutes allowed.
All those clear in round one will go forward to round two over a shortened course.
All double clears share equal first place.  Six club league points will be awarded in riders own regional league tables.
Entry fee - £10.00

CLASS 3  -  CLUB 70 cms PONY OPEN
Table A7.  All clear rounds go forward to second round over a shortened course, against the clock.  2 minute time limit in round one.  Club league points will be awarded in riders own regional league tables.

British Showjumping Officials

Rules:
Knock down = 4 faults, 1st refusal = 4 faults, 2nd refusal = 4 faults, 3rd refusal
or a fall = elimination.

Club League runs from 1st June 2011 – 31 st May 2012.

Points will be awarded as follows:
1st = 12 points, 2nd = 10 points, 3rd = 8 points, 4th = 6 points, 5th = 4 points and 6th = 3 points.

3 additional points are awarded to every double clear achieved.

Double clear classes: 6 points to double clears.

The top 40 riders in the league tables in each height category at 31st May qualify for the regional championships.

The ‘new’ British Showjumping Club Membership and subsequent BS Club Shows, affords the grass-roots horse and rider,  the opportunity to progress and compete over smaller courses; professionally built by an official BS course builder.  Club  membership is great value for money, members enjoying the high standards and benefits of British Showjumping affiliation for less cost, but at the same time  enjoying a more relaxed and friendly atmosphere;  particularly at Lane Farm Equestrian.

IN CASE OF EXCESSIVE ENTRIES, SOME CLASSES MAY CHANGE TO SINGLE PHASE

 Ponies/Horses may only enter once in any one competition.

British showjumping dress code applicable

 CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:

  • Lane Farm Equestrian do not accept liability for any loss, damage, injury or death to any person, animal, or property whilst attending Lane Farm.
  • The Judges decision is final.
  • LFE reserve the right to combine, split or cancel any classes as they see fit.
  • Abusive behavior of any kind and out of control riders, will not be tolerated and persons will be asked to leave without refund.
  • Horses/ponies must be 4 years and over.
  • Horses/ponies deemed not sound, or in an unfit state to compete, or being unfairly treated, owners/riders will be disqualified from all classes and asked to leave without refund.
  • No stallions without prior permission.
  • LFE reserve the right to elimate any competitor wearing inappropriate riding wear or using unsafe or incorrect tack. Hats approved to current standard must be worn and fastened.  Body protectors are strongly advised.
  • No dogs please.
  • Horses not to be left tied up outside wagons/trailers.
  • No mucking out on to yard and all rubbish to be removed.
  • Any objections must be lodged in writing and given to the secretary within 20 minutes of an incident accompanied by a £20.00 deposit to be returned if the objection is upheld.
