Do You Own or Ride a Retrained Racehorse?

If you own or ride a retrained racehorses you are eligible could be eligible to win the £2,500 monetary award that is on offer or one of the five supporting £500 awards.  There are also eleven regional titles  up for grabs with supporting winners rugs and jackets for those competing under British Showjumping rules.
 
To ensure you are eligible you need to have your horse registered with Retraining of Racehorses in addition to being a member of British Showjumping.   A cash award will be given to the owners of the six highest graded notional prize money horses during the twelve month period between 1st October 2010 and 30th September 2011.    The breakdown will be as follows:
 
1st           £ 2,500
2nd          £     500
3rd           £     500
4th           £     500
5th           £     500
6th           £     500
 
There are then eleven title sponsorships to be awarded to the highest places horse on each of the eleven Regional Leagues.  The winner will be identified by selecting the highest places eligible horse in the 1m l eague before moving down to the 90cm league working downwards until an eligible horse is identified.   The winning horse will be awarded a winners rug, the owner will also receive a jacket.

Important Note:
You need to be registered with ROR and it is your responsibility to make British Showjumping aware of this if  you want to be eligible for the awards.
