Monday 10 September 2018

SouthView Equestrian Centre produced worthy winners at the weekend as riders contended the Dodson & Horrell 95cm and 1.10m Second Rounds in hope of qualifying for the Dodson & Horrell National Amateur Championships at Aintree Equestrian Centre in Liverpool on 13 – 18 November 2018.

Dodson & Horrell 95cm National Amateur Second Round

Chloe Scott from Winsford, Cheshire outpaced all rivals to take the Dodson & Horrell 95cm National Amateur Second Round with Reedside Francesca.

Thirteen of the thirty starters returned first round clears over an 11-fence track to make their way to the jump-off, but none could come near Chloe – the only one to break the 30 second barrier. Utilising every tight turn option, Chloe eased her 10-year-old Polling x Darcy Dancer mare Reedside Francesca into the top spot with 2.01 seconds to spare.
