Thursday 26 May 2016
GYS MINI MAJOR / ROYAL HIGHLAND / SCOPE FESTIVAL 2016 at JM/REC ARENAS.
Well done to everyone who competed at our show. Lovely to seeing everyone cheering each other on! Many thanks to our fantastic sponsors and to those who made this happen. 268 ponies through in a day is a record for us and we are pleased it went so well.
Congratulations to John Carpenters of Cats & Pipes and the super combination of Iwan Carpenter & Brookhall Glimpse winners of a very competitive GYS MINI MAJOR qualifier held at REC ARENAS. Iwan produced a perfect double clear to take the class from some very fast ponies. This speedy pair won a rug donated by JM Equestrian from Hadrian Equine which was beautifully embroidered by Tallysew, a Stylish Steeds sponsored hoodie, Championship rosette and a huge bag of carrots for the pony. Madelaine Archibald rode a lovely round on the talented Tazmania 11 to finish a close second, Madelaine won an embroidered saddle cloth donated by JM Equestrian and Taz got a lovely bag of carrots. Rachel Proudley on the successful Painted Lady took the third qualifying ticket and Rachel also took home an embroidered saddle cloth donated by JM Equestrian and Lady a lovely bag of carrots.
