British Showjumping Club Rules:
Knock down – 4 Faults, 1st Refusal – 4 Faults, 2nd Refusal (anywhere on the course) – 4Faults, 3rd Refusal (anywhere on the course) - Elimination, fall (anywhere on the course) – Elimination. All other faults are as per British Showjumping Rule Book.
Unaffiliated competitors can compete without being a club member. Competitors can register as club members up to 7 days after the competition & regain points won. For any horse/rider, pony/rider combination without a registered result in British Showjumping National Amateur 90cm, British Novice, Pony British Novice, Stepping Stones & above in the last three years. Adults are eligible to ride ponies.
British Showjumping Club Membership
- £30 online – combined horse & rider membership.
- Regional Leagues at 70cm, 80cm, 90cm, 1.00m
- Leagues to run from June – May 31st each year. Annual North Championships to be held at Bishop Burton College.
- Cub membership includes 2 “National Tickets to Ride”
- Children can ride horses from the beginning of the calendar year in which the age of 12 is reached, (FEI Rules)

Class 12 PHONE ART STEPPING STONES 128cms/138cms Handicap Qualifier
For registered ponies not exceeding 138cms, to be ridden by Junior members, ages in accordance with Rules 77.12 & 77.13. Open to all but for qualification purposes those riders up to the end of the calendar year in which the age of 10 is reached are eligible to enter irrespective of Points achieved. Riders aged 10 years and over on 1st January in the calendar year, must not have won a total of 350 Points in the 128cms Section and 700 Points in the 138cms Section. 128cms Ponies will not be permitted to enter the 138cms Section.
Once Riders have competed at, or 'ever' qualified for RIHS or HOYS on any height pony they are no longer eligible to compete in the final.
Once a pony has qualified with any rider for RIHS or HOYS in the current year, then it is not eligible to in the Final.
