Maelor Equestrain Centre holds first Club show in Wales on July 31st, with more dates in September.

Maelor Equestrain Centre holds first Club show in Wales on July 31st, with more dates in September.
 
Maelor are the first venue in Wales to hold the recently launched grassroots Club competitions. Mark your calendar for the following dates:
 SUNDAY JULY 31st
SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 3rd
SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 24th
 
Maelor Equestrian Centre is a situated in a beautiful area of North Wales. The centre is owned and run by Joanna Lloyd Aylett, and is open 7 days a week.
The centre is set in 50 acres, and is ideally located with road links to the A55, M56, M6 and is 15 minutes from both Chester and Wrexham.
 
They are a busy, and popular competition venue, holding events British Show Jumping affiliated competitions and  British Dressage affiliated competitions, lessons and  training days. See their website for further details:
 
 
Club Membership is the new membership category that is specifically aimed to attract grass roots competitors who are currently competing at unaffiliated level. 
British Showjumping’s objective is to create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere where riders compete for points between 70cm – 1m that count towards a regional league table and subsequent championship show. 
 
Benefits of becoming a Club Member are vast and at only £30 per year should not be missed.  Some of the benefits of which are below:
 
- British Showjumping Insurance
- Access to copies of the on line British Showjumping magazine
- All results to be graded – thereby giving a full competition record
- Club Membership includes two “National Tickets to Ride” allowing you to compete
  in two national classes per year to encourage progression to National Membership
- Courses will be designed and judged by British Showjumping officials to ensure that  
  the courses you ride are safe and that rules are applied consistently and fairly
- Access training opportunities at a reduced member rate
- Prestigious Regional Championships
- No age restriction for those riding ponies
