British Showjumping Ponies

Pony Schedule - Commencing  9.30am

Class 1: 70cm Starter Open
For Registered Ponies to be ridden by Pony or Pony Associate members. Single Fence. Speed 325mpm.  Single Phase.
Prizes: £15, £14, £11, £11                    Entry Fee: £11

Class 2: 80cm  open
For Registered Ponies to be ridden by Pony or Pony Associate members. Single Fence. Speed 325mpm.  Single Phase.
Prizes: £15, £14, £11, £11                    Entry Fee: £11

Class 3: Springboard 128cm/138cm Restricted Handicap
For registered ponies not exceeding 138cms, to be ridden by Pony or Pony Associate Members, ages in accordance with Rule 77.12 & 77.13. This competition is open to all but for qualification purposes: In the 128cms Section Pony riders are eligible to enter, irrespective of notional winnings, before the calendar year in which the age of ten years is reached. Riders who reach the age of ten years and over in the current calendar year, must not have won a total of £500 notional Winnings. In the 138cms Section Pony riders are eligible to enter, irrespective of notional winnings, before the calendar year in which the age of twelve is reached. Riders who reach the age of twelve years and over in the current calendar year, must not have won a total of £850 notional Winnings. Pony Riders are not eligible to enter the 138cms section until the calendar year in which their eighth birthday is reached. 128cms Ponies are not permitted to enter the 138cms Section. Once Riders have competed at, or have ‘ever’ qualified for RIHS or HOYS on any height pony they are no longer eligible to compete in the Final. Rule 415 Table A Two Rounds not against the clock. All equal first in Round one will go forward to Round Two over a shortened course Height of fences: 128cms 90cms 138cms 1.00m. Two double clears to qualify for the Final. Qualification is Pony/Rider Combination. Ponies in the class must go into the jump off and go clear to gain it’s double clear round qualification. In order to compete in the final all qualified competitors ages must be in accordance with rule 77.12/77.13 in the year of the final. Speed 325 mpm.

Class 4: WINTER 128CM COMPETITION 1ST ROUND
 For registered ponies that have won £30 or more, not exceeding 128cms, ridden by Pony members, age in accordance with Rule 77.13. Pony riders are not eligible to compete in this competition before the calendar year in which their eighth birthday is reached. Rule 514 Table A7 Speed 325mpm Height of fences 1.05m Two double clears to qualify (subject to revision). Please note that in the event of fewer than 20 starters in classes 4 & 5 both classes will amalgamated and run as a handicap, one set of prize money will then be

Class 5: WINTER 138CM COMPETITION 1ST ROUND 
For registered ponies that have won £30 or more, exceeding 128cms but not exceeding 138cms, ridden by Pony or Pony Associate members, age in accordance with Rule 77.12. Pony riders are not eligible to compete in this competition before the calendar year in before the calendar year in which their eighth birthday is reached. Rule 512 Table A7 Speed 325mpm Height of fences 1.10m Two double clears to qualify Please note that in the event of fewer than 20 starters in classes 4 & 5 both classes will amalgamated and run as r as a handicap, one set of prize money will then be awarded.

Class 6: Tacklockers.com Pony British Novice Championship / 80 cm Pony Open
 Rule 410. Table A7.  Speed 325mpm. Height 80cm. Riders ages riding 128/138cm ponies must be in accordance with rule 77.12/77.13 In the event of 15 or more starters the class will be split. Ponies may only compete in one section.

Class 7: Netley Hall Equestrian Pony Discovery/ 90cm Pony Open
For registered ponies in grade JD & JC which have not won a total of £175, to be ridden by Pony or Pony Associate members. Rule 408. Table A7. Speed 325mpm. Height of fences 90cm. 
In the event of 30 or more starters the class will be split. Ponies may only compete in one section.
Riders ages riding 128/138cm ponies must be in accordance with rule 77.12/77.13 will apply to the Pony Discovery Section.

Class8: Blue Chip Pony Newcomers/1m Open –(both to INC. THE PONY RESTRICTED RIDER QUALIFIER)
For registered ponies who have not won a total of £300, to be ridden by Pony or Pony Associate members. Rule 406. Table A7. Speed 325mpm. In the event of 30 or more starters class will be split. Ponies may compete in one section only. The open section is open to all; however those ponies competing in the open or the Newcomer section, ridden by pony riders who have not won a total of £500 notional winnings are eligible for double clear qualification for the Pony Restricted Rider Championship. Four double clears for qualify.

Class 9: Moorhousesaddlery.com 1.05m Open – Drawn order
For Registered Ponies to be ridden by Pony or Pony Associate members. Table A4.

Class 10: Squibb Group Pony Foxhunter First Round/1.10m Open.
Rule 404. For registered ponies. Table A7. Speed 325mpm. 
In the event of 30 or more starters the class will be split. Ponies may only compete in one section.

Rules & Conditions
1. This show is affiliated to British Showjumping. All Classes will be judged under British Showjumping Rules.
2. The organisers reserve the right to refuse any entrant without assigning a reason.
3. All competitors take part at their own risk. The organisers do not hold themselves responsible for any accident that may occur to any horse, pony, rider, spectator or property.
4. Protective headgear, as rule 101.47 101.5 must be worn whilst mounted on the showground. 
5. Full entry Fee must be remitted with each entry. Refunds will be made in accordance with rule 79.4. 7. All dogs must be kept on a lead at all times. 
6. In the event of insufficient starters lower prizes may be withheld in accordance with rule 76.6. 
7. The organisers have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid & prevent accidents happening & must obey the instructions of the organisers. Officials & stewards. 
8. No member should allow a stallion for which he/she is responsible as owner, lessee, authorised agent or rider to compete or be prepared in a showjumping competition without taking adequate precautions to ensure members of the public and their animals are not put at risk of injury. See rule 82.19.2 & 102.11.
