SCOTT BRASH BEGINS 2012 IN OLYMPIC STYLE!
Friday 24 February 2012
Week four concluded with the $25,000 Suncast 1.50m Championship Jumper Classic which saw British riders sweep the board with four of the top six placings. Taking the win jumping clear in a jump off time of 44.67 seconds was Scott partnering his father Stanley’s 9 year old bay gelding Whisky Mac IV.
With Olympic selection in his sights Scott, who acquitted himself brilliantly on the challenging Nations Cup circuit in 2011, now has 9 year old Sanctos Van Het Gravenhorf. Lady Harris and Lady Kirkham bought Scott Sanctos Van Het Gravenhof — formerly ridden by Ukraine's Katharina Offel — before the Olympic cut-off date of 31 December 2011, with London 2012 in mind. Following the owners' tradition, the horse was renamed Hello Sanctos and the latest addition to Britain's horsepower potential for London was welcomed by national team manager Rob Hoekstra.
With the Olympics fast approaching this year Scotland is on tenterhooks waiting for our number one ranking star to achieve the biggest dream any Showjumper could imagine.
