Adam Ellery wins the Nupafeed Supplements Senior Discovery Second Round at Hartpury University Summer Spectacular Show

Adam Ellery from Talskiddy, Cornwall sealed the win in the Nupafeed Supplements Senior Discovery Second Round at Hartpury University on Sunday during their Summer Spectacular Show with Wendy Mastin’s Bonmahon Blue Shaker, a 7 Year-old Irish bred by Bonmahon Master Blue.

Fifty-six combinations made their way to the Gloucestershire showground for the final Nupafeed Senior Discovery Second Round of the season. Fifteen of the initial starting field made it through to the final round but only thirteen combinations managed to produce a treble clear to secure their place in the

Championship Final which will be held during the British Showjumping National Championships next month.

Adam piloted Bonmahon Blue Shaker, whom he had only competed once, two day days before the second round, to the win in a lightning fast round of 34.86 seconds. Just 0.43 seconds separated second and third place; Marcella Johnstone steered her own 6 Year-old Irish bred mare Killea Storm to second place with a time of 37.47 seconds whilst Chloe Reynolds and Jancey Wembridge’s Quantify, an 11 Year-old Dutch bred by Quantum, took third place in 37.90 seconds.

With ten other combinations going on to produce treble clears, a total of thirteen combinations now going forward to the Nupafeed Supplements Senior Discovery Championship Final.
