Anouska Loveridge, aged 12 from Beaminster secured first place last month in the Schools 90cm League Class at Kings Sedgemoor Equestrian Centre. Riding for Perrott Hill School, Anouska and her pony Arrow Head Quiver jumped a fast double clear to take the lead in what turned out to be a busy class full of strong competitors.

Speaking afterwards about her performance Anouska said; “Arrow Head Quiver is awesome. I feel he will jump anything I put him at, he never says no and I really trust him. I had to ride it to win it and there was a turn fence 7 to 8 which I knew I had to do, Arrow Head Quiver was amazing and flew it.”

Anouska’s mum Jemma commented; “I love that ‘Just for Schools’ can be for teams as well as individuals.”

Anouska added; “I love ‘Just for Schools’ because I love the classes and the team spirit and competing with my friends.”

The ‘Just for Schools’ League run by British Showjumping offers riders the chance to compete Individually or as a Team in classes ranging from 70cm to 1.10m with the chance to qualify for the British Showjumping National Championships held at Stoneleigh Park in August 2018.
