Paige Smart and Jive Master II are leading the RoR British Showjumping Club League

Paige Smart and Jive Master II from Bridgwater, Somerset, are leading the ROR British Showjumping Club League with 377 points in the run up to the Championships next month.

The pair have an extraordinary story since Paige bought Jive Master II (By Marignan out of Ardkilly Jive) 2 ½ years ago. Paige having never ridden before buying the then 10yo gelding, knew she faced a huge challenge but he proved to be an extremely difficult horse to retrain but through sheer determination and patience they started competing in January this year, after a slow start, the pair have had an amazing season since March and have been awarded the RoR Special Recognition Award in honour of their achievement.

The pair are looking forward to increasing their lead and cement their place at the British Showjumping National Championships which take place at the National Agricultural and Exhibition Centre (NAEC), Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire on the 8th – 13th August 2017.
