Team Braunton Academy Aspire from Devon are currently top of the leader board in the ‘Just for Schools’ Team 70cm League

Currently leading British Showjumping’s ‘Just for Schools’ Team 70cm League are the Braunton Academy Showjumping team; Braunton Academy Aspire, with 76 points.

Team riders Lilli, Bella, Poppy and Evie had an incredible time at the British Showjumping National Championships in August and they are determined to qualify again next year.

Parent and Team Manager Vicky Fiddes is incredibly proud of all the girls’ hard work and determination; “I know it sounds very cliché but the girls really do owe so much to this league! All of them have gone from being extremely nervous, inexperienced and under confident riders to riders that can’t bear be away from their ponies and want to spend every hour jumping anything they can find! They look forward to every single ‘Just for Schools’ competition and thrive on the excitement each competition brings.”

Currently 25 points ahead of their competitors, Team Braunton Academy Aspire have made a strong and impressive start to the season.

The ‘Just for Schools’ League run by British Showjumping offers riders the chance to compete Individually or as a Team in classes ranging from 70cm to 1.10m with the chance to qualify for the Championships.
