What is the British Showjumping Apprenticeship Scheme?
Tuesday 30 April 2013
British Showjumping and specialist training provider Haddon Training have joined forces to provide us with government funded Level 2 and Level 3 apprenticeships for 16-23 year olds.
Apprenticeships are work-based programmes, combining 'on the job' training with study, ensuring that your workforce has the practical skills and qualifications that work best for your business.
Apprenticeships can be used to train both new and existing employees. Apprentices must be employed (on a yard) for a minimum of 30 hours per week, for at least 12 months and will receive £2.65 per hour.
Government Funded Grant - £1,500
The National Apprenticeship Service will provide Apprenticeship grants to employers with up to 1000 employees recruiting 16 to 23 year olds with a value of £1,500, to encourage employers to take on new apprentices.
