British Showjumping, Area 36 Awards Dinner Great Success

 

On Friday March 9^th at the Ivy Bush Hotel, Carmarthen trophies were presented to all the 2010 award winners by David Broome CBE.

Heather Jenkins, Area representative along with her committee organised a fantastic evening with ‘Tommo’ from Radio Ceredigion treating the audience to a first class comedy act, with much audience participation!! Heather warned all present ‘do not catch his eye or you will be involved. He comes with a health warning!’ With Tommo leading the fundraising and auction, the evening managed to raise £314. Thanks to everyone

Tankards were also presented to Ffion Hemmings and Austen Lewis for representing Wales on the 148 teams and to Felix Mc Cartney for being on the British Junior Under 18’s squad.

The evening will be long remembered by all, especially those (Eurig Eynon, Paul Evans, Alun Hemmings and Charles Morgan) that participated in Tomo’s YMCA act! Make sure you mark your calendar’s for next year’s Awards presentation!!
