The Netley Hall Country & Equestrian Show May 20 – 22, 2011

After 2 days of the 3 day competition at Netley Hall, Dorrington, Shrewsbury competitors are praising the organisers and owners Colin and Michelle Poole.

Colin stated, ‘ I am delighted to hear from the riders that the footing in the  grass ring was perfect, and was even better than a permanent grass ring, that had recently been ridden on in Europe at a major competition’. The grass ring located in front of the magnificent hall and was allocated to senior riders. The junior riders enjoyed the Championship ring on a wax surface by the side on the house, and entries in the 128 cm and 138 cm were very good and producing some very exciting competition.

The Team at Netley Hall have to be congratulated for producing the excellent going in the very dry weather on the grass surface, plus organising an action packaged weekend for the family. Show jumping continues tomorrow along with the following activities:
  • Country Side arena with Ferret/Dog/Falconry/Sheep Dog displays
  • Entertainment area with adult and children’s bouncy castles, bungee run, surf simulator, bucking bronco, laser clay shooting, giant garden games, archery and more...
  • Food court and bars
  • Craft fair and trade stands
