Winter 128/138 Pony Premier Circuit 2017

 

BRITISH SHOWJUMPING 128CMS/138CMS HANDICAP SPECIAL

For registered ponies not exceeding 138cms ridden by Junior Members, ages in accordance with Rules 77.12 and 77.13.   Juniors are not eligible to compete in this qualifier before the calendar year in which their eighth birthday is reached.

Maximum height of fences in the First Round 1.00m (128cms) and 1.05m (138cms)

Pony/rider Combinations that have been placed in a Winter Second Round Competition or a HOYS Qualifier are not eligible to compete in this class. 

The first 3 pony/rider combinations to qualify for the 128cm/138cm British Showjumping Handicap Special Final, disregarding those already qualified.  Competitors may ride a maximum of two ponies in the Final.

British Showjumping 128cms/138cms Handicap Special Final to be held at South View Competition Centre across the weekend of the 1st & 2nd April 2017.


WINTER 128CMS SECOND ROUND

For registered ponies not exceeding 128cms which have qualified by achieving at least two double clears in a Winter 128cms First Round Competition in the qualifying period  Sept 2016 to Jan 2017  to be ridden by Junior members (ages in accordance with Rule 77.13.)

Three Pony/Rider Combinations to qualify on day one of the schedule, two Pony/Rider Combinations to qualify on day two of the schedule, disregarding those already qualified and ponies ridden by riders who have already qualified two Ponies. Ponies which are disregarded which otherwise would have qualified may be substituted in the Final for ponies already qualified by the same rider, subject to Rule 79.4. Qualifies for Royal International Horse Show.


WINTER 138CMS SECOND ROUND

For registered ponies exceeding 128cms but not exceeding 138cms which have qualified by achieving at least two double clears in a Winter 138cms First Round Competition in the qualifying period  Sept 2016 to Jan 2017 to be ridden by Junior members (ages in accordance with Rule 77.12.)

Three Pony/Rider Combinations to qualify on day one of the schedule, two Pony/Rider Combinations to qualify on day two of the schedule, disregarding those already qualified and ponies ridden by riders who have already qualified two Ponies.Ponies which are disregarded which otherwise would have qualified may be substituted in the Final for ponies already qualified by the same rider, subject to Rule 79.4. Qualifies for Royal International Horse Show.


BRITISH SHOWJUMPING 11 YEARS AND UNDER QUALIFIER – (FOR DAY 1 OF SCHEDULE)

For registered ponies not exceeding 138cms to be ridden by Junior Members born in or after the 1st of January 2006. Pony/Rider combinations that have competed in the Winter Second Round Competitions or qualified for HOYS or RIHS are not eligible to compete in this class. 

Two Phase (Both parts not against the clock) Speed 325mpm
Maximum height of fences in the First Round 0.90m

Two double clear rounds needed for the Final, competitors may ride a maximum of two ponies in the Final.
In the event of equality prize money is divided.

British Showjumping 11 Years and Under Final to be held at South View Competition Centre across the weekend of the 1st & 2nd April 2017.

BRITISH SHOWJUMPING 11 YEARS AND UNDER QUALIFIER INCORPORATING THE 10 YEARS AND UNDER STYLE AND PERFORMANCE QUALIFIER – (FOR DAY 2 OF SCHEDULE)

For registered ponies not exceeding 138cms to be ridden by Junior Members born in or after the 1st of January 2006.  Pony/Rider combinations that have competed in the Winter Second Round Competitions or qualified for HOYS or RIHS are not eligible to compete in this class.  10 Year and under competitors to be born in or after the 1st of January 2007.

Two Phase (Both parts not against the clock) Speed 325mpm
Maximum height of fences in the First Round 0.90m

All entrants must state year of birth on the entry form. Class will be DRAWN ORDER With 10 Years and under Style and Performance competitors going first.

Two double clear rounds needed for the Final, competitors may ride a maximum of two ponies in the Final.
A Judge selected by the Training Committee will select three Pony/Rider Combinations, disregarding those already qualified, to qualify for the British Showjumping 10 Years and Under Style & Performance Final. 
In the event of equality prize money is divided.

British Showjumping 11 Years and Under Incorporating the 10 Years and Under Style and Performace Final to be held at South View Competition Centre across the weekend of the 1st & 2nd April 2017.

GRAHAM HEATH CONSTRUCTION 128/138CMS HANDICAP QUALIFIER

For registered ponies not exceeding 128cms, to be ridden by Junior members born in or after 2005 and registered ponies not exceeding 138cms, to be ridden by Junior members born in or after 2003.  Junior Riders are not eligible to compete in this class before the calendar year in which their eighth birthday is reached.

Height of fences: - 128cms - 1.00m                   138cms – 1.05m
Numbers to qualify: Two double clears qualify for the Alexanders Horseboxes / Scope Festival UK Supreme Championships.
