Bella Wild wins the Just For Schools Individual 70cm Final & Clifton College the Teams

Bella Wild, aged 11 from Saltney in Flintshire couldn’t have been happier when she won the Just For Schools Individual 70cm Final at the NAF Five Star British Showjumping Championships this morning.
It was the second day of the Championships, which run until next Tuesday, and it was a field of over thirty starters that came forward. For Bella with her 10 year-old dapple grey gelding Thornberry Minuet it was an incredibly fast jump off round that saw them secure the title when they broke the finish line in 31.49 seconds. 2nd place went to 10 year-old Lily Ann Watchman from Darlington, County Durham with her pony Lady Scirocco whilst 3rd place went to Lucy Cockram and Whiteleaze Finola.
Clifton College from Bristol claimed the Just for Schools 70cm title for 2020 at the NAF Five Star British Showjumping Championships taking place at Bolesworth between the 3 – 11 August today.
The team made up of Emily Hall, Will Brown and Catherine Collins couldn’t have been happier with the way their ponies went with both Emily and Will jumping double clear and Catherine just having one fence down in the first round.
