British Showjumping Update: Clarification is being sought on new COVID-19 lockdown restrictions

Further to the Prime Minister’s announcement on Saturday that a national lockdown will commence in England on Thursday 5 November, British Showjumping is working with British Equestrian to provide members with an update as soon as possible.

British Equestrian is seeking clarity on aspects of the announcement, and its impact on equestrian sport and the wider industry, from Sport England and the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS). We also await the outcome of the vote on the lockdown requirements by Parliament tomorrow (Wednesday) for confirmation of the measures.

As soon as further details become available, we will share this information and the current government guidance for England is available here.
