Lucky Lou lives up to her name at the NAF Five Star British Showjumping Championships

 

10 year-old Vicky Messent from Timsbury, Bath with Lucky Lou a 12 year-old bay mare put in a great double clear to lead the thirty-two strong field in Just For Schools 90cm Final at the NAF Five Star British Showjumping Championships this evening.

An incredibly fast second round clear saw them the only combination to break the 26 second barrier mark whilst Cecilie Sykes, who won claimed a win earlier in the day in the Junior Club 1m Final finished in 2nd place behind her on the 13 year-old mare Colours of Romeo. Lily Watchman riding Buttons Two finished 3rd  

This Final brought an end to those being contested for the day at proved to be an extremely successful first day of the Championships.
