International Experience Programme

Sport England funded programme

Aim:

Assisting riders making the step into international competition in the UK and abroad. It will consist of two stages of selection and from the final selection show a group of riders will be selected to then travel abroad to an International show later in the year.

The first stage involves entering a specific UK International show, at the show there will be coach support for course walks and workshops that the riders can attend to gain more information regarding preparation for travelling and competing abroad. From the first stage 12 riders will be selected and invited to another UK International where there will be coach support. From the second stage the final 6 riders will be selected on to the programme. These 6 riders will be accompanied by two lead coaches to support them throughout the International show abroad and help with the preparation for travelling.
