British Showjumping announce new Non-Executive Board positions

British Showjumping is pleased to announce that the four Non-Executive Board Director vacancies have now been appointed from the 1st April 2019 as follows:

Jenny Quirke – Finance
Jenny has been reappointed for a second term.  A qualified accountant with over 15 years of Board level experience in the finance sector, Jenny also has extensive risk management and governance knowledge

Samantha Livesey - Integrity & Compliance
A member of British Showjumping for more than 25 years, Samantha  has served on the Board as one of the two Showjumping Specific Non Executive Board Directors since 2018.  Samantha moves to the post of Integrity & Compliance Non Executive Board Director bringing with her a depth of knowledge from within the sport as well as from her professional experience as a Partner at international law firm Pinsent Masons LLP. 

James Broome – Showjumping Specific
Managing one of the busiest equestrian facilities within the UK for the past two decades, James brings tremendous knowledge and understanding of the sport as a whole in addition to the requirements of those participating in it.  James has also sat as an elected Director and Vice Chair on the board of another BEF member body, British Carriagedriving, as well as having served in a voluntary capacity on a number of BEF groups including the BEF Facilities Steering Group. 

Laura Stockdale – Showjumping Specific
With an involvement in the sport that spans more than thirty years, Laura has considerable knowledge and first-hand experience of the sporting structure from young horse production classes and the grass roots competition structure through to the highest national and international level.  In addition to this Laura is a long standing owner of horses competing at both a national and international level and has assisted build and run an extremely high profile business and showjumping yard under the brand of Team Stockdale.
