Resume:  I have been a member of British Showjumping for the past 38 years.  In that time I have an owner, a judge, a course designer and an Area Representative.  I have represented Scotland on Committee’s at Stoneleigh and at present I am on the Executive Board.  I was in charge of the Scottish Show jump store and I still arrange the jumps and time for the jump store.  I work closely with the Development Officer regarding show dates, qualifiers and schedules.  Additionally, I have been advising other shows and still run shows annually.  I am now retired and have been able to dedicate my time to represent Scotland on various committees.  Having no personal gain from British Showjumping, I feel I have been able to make impartial decisions from my vast experience.

Nadine Warwick (34960) - Total number of votes: 21

Proposer:  Lord Rowallan (38005) Seconder: Eileen Denholm (122722)

Resume:  I have been Area Representative for South West Scotland and Chairman of Area Committee for about 10 years, Two star Judge, judging nearly every weekend at all level of shows, also a level 3 UKCC Coach and have ridden at all levels of showjumping, national and international and still competing.  I have been Chef d’Equipe for Scottish Pony Teams for eight years.  I feel I would have a lot to offer being on Members Council.  I see showjumping from all angles and I am at shows every weekend talking to people and listening to what they have to say.  As a Judge I watch so many horses, ponies and riders and get a good idea what is needed or not in showjumping and shows.

Fiona Quennell (70110) - Total number of votes: 26

Propser:  Diane Beaumont (110469) Seconder:  Jean Paterson (24682)

Resume:  I feel I could fulfil the role of show organiser on the Members Council well for the following reasons:  Four years ago my husband and I turned the existing Cabin Riding Centre into the busiest competition centre in the NE of Scotland.  We now have an extremely busy competition calendar going from strength to strength.  As Area Representative for Aberdeen and North of Scotland I have been extremely pro-active increasing membership in the North by providing regular competitions, training monthly and Junior Academy which the Cabin Equestrian Centre sponsors.  I have also carried out a lot of fundraising making a healthy Area Account.  I am passionate about British Showjumping in Scotland and being able to participate in promoting British Showjumping events would give me much pleasure.  I would endeavour to work effortlessly for venues and members alike.  As a keen competitor myself Showjumping is dear to my heart and my ultimate goal was to return Showjumpiing to its former prominence in Scotland.

MEMBER

Marjory McNaughton (18188) - Unopposed

Proposer:  Shelley Farm (132973) Seconder:  Luana Cecchini (12650)

Resume:  I would like to be an Area Representative as I am passionate about showjumping and especially about the Juniors.  I have enjoyed being Chef d’Equipe this year and would like to continue to help support and train our Juniors at all levels.  I take great pleasure in bringing young children out and seeing them improve and go up the grades.  I also own novice horses and would like to see classes to produce horses at realistic costs.  I am also on Junior Sponsors Committee and enjoy running shows.  I have sat on Scottish Council for approximately 10 years and this year on the Pony Committee.  I would like the opportunity to sit on the new Council at Stoneleigh as I am keen to see the sport go forward into 2013.
