Four Rising Stars Qualify for the Addington Manor Talent Seekers Championship

A reported 116 combinations of horse and rider contested the first qualifying round of the inaugural Addington Manor Talent Seekers Championship, inc. the National Seven-Year-Old Horse Championship this weekend. The first qualifier was held at the sponsors very own venue, Addington Manor Equestrian Centre.
The Championship showcases the rising stars of the showjumping world and the top four placed horses from each qualifier will gain access to the Championship Final, which will be held at the Horse of the Year Show (HOYS) on Wednesday 3rd October 2012. The top four horses to qualify from the Addington Manor Equestrian Centre qualifier were as follows:
· Louise Pavitt on Don VHP Z owned by the Brendon Stud
· Daniel Moseley on Billy Mexico owned by the Billy Stud
· William Funnell on Billy Laden owned by the Billy Stud
· Chloe Aston on Amigo T owned by Joanne Aston
The class is open to horses registered in grades B and C and all seven-year-old horses and at the final, the winner will be crowned the Addington Manor Talent Seekers Champion, while the highest placed seven-year-old will become the new national seven-year-old champion, for which there is a bonus prize of £1,000.
