Hickstead Derby Broadcasts on Horse & Country TV over the Weekend
WANT to watch all the action from the DFS British Jumping Derby at Hickstead? Then please make sure you tune in to Horse & Country TV (H&C) over the weekend on Sky 280.
Saturday night sees two separate programmes from this year’s Derby Meeting at Hickstead. The first, starting at 8pm, features all the action from the Bunn Leisure Speed Derby. This is followed at 9pm with the highlight of the event, The DFS Derby, won by William Funnell riding Cortaflex Mondriaan.
And on Sunday evening all the action from both events will be on air for fans in a single show featuring unbeatable show-jumping and eventing action.
Fans can catch up with both events online at www.horseandcountry.tv if they miss the on-air coverage.
Both programmes will appear on H&C throughout July, August and September.
Heather Killen, Executive Chairman of H&C, said: “Following our historic back-to-back coverage of the British Open and Badminton, we're now bringing the Hickstead Derby to Horse & Country TV viewers for the first time. H&C is committed to bringing fans of horse sport the best coverage of key events, and we're doing more this year to meet this goal. Our unique on-air and online combination means more opportunities to see more of what you really care about. We will update you soon with more news on events exclusive to H&C.”
About H&C
H&C launched in 2007 and can be found at www.horseandcountry.tv and at channel number 280 on Sky. In December last year new investors bought into the Channel and a new management team has been put in place which has implemented a complete strategic review of the business. This has resulted in a total tear down and rebuild of the website and a refocusing of the business away from a traditional broadcast business to an integrated model that offers a passionate audience the opportunity to engage with their passion both online and on-air.
