British Showjumping is delighted to welcome Charles Britton Equestrian Construction as the new title sponsor of the Winter JA Classic Championship.

The Charles Britton Equestrian Construction Winter JA Classic Championship is for Grade JA ponies ridden by Pony or Junior Members. This competition provides riders and ponies with the opportunity to gain experience during the winter ahead of the viewing trials that are held in the summer and combinations will battle it out for a place in the Championship Final, which will once again take place during the British Masters International at SouthView Competition & Training Centre in Cheshire (30th June – 2nd July 2017).

With their Head Office at SouthView, Charles Britton Equestrian Construction are hugely experienced in the design and construction of all equestrian exercise & housing facilities: indoor and outdoor arenas, tracks, walkers, lunge pens, traditional stable yards, American barns, storage facilities, complexes and so on.  The hands-on family operation dates back to 1979 and the team provide a complete, turn key and very personal service. They can handle all aspects of any equestrian build project, large or small, private or commercial, and everything is in house: from initial design and Local Authority planning applications all the way through to complete, on-site execution of every aspect of the build.

Charles Britton’s service is dedicated to the UK and they have an impressive and wide ranging portfolio of completed projects all across the country. Whatever your equestrian construction needs & dreams, they can deliver it all, bespoke, to budget and on time.

In offering their support to the Winter JA Championship, Director Charles Britton affirmed “Our philosophy at SouthView has always been to cater for all levels of competitors from tiny tots on lead reins up to inclusive levels of International and to support the development of riders between these extremes by providing top class competition on top class facilities. This ‘service to all’ is reflected too in our aims with Charles Britton Equestrian Construction, serving, as we do, all manner of rider, discipline and establishment.

“As a key development indicator of pony riders on the brink of the move onto horses, the Winter JA Championship has been hosted at SouthView alongside ‘the Masters’ International Show since 2011. It therefore seems fitting to extend our support to the whole series in this way.”

Maria Haig, Head of Communications at British Showjumping, added “We are delighted to be announcing Charles Britton Equestrian Construction’s support of the Winter JA Classic Championship. The Championship is a mainstay of the jumping calendar, providing riders and ponies with the opportunity to gain experience during the winter ahead of the viewing trials that are held in the summer. The class also gives the finalists a chance to compete at an International show. The Britton family have always been passionate advocates for the pony competition sector and we are extremely grateful for their further support in sponsoring this prestigious championships.”
