Podium (Delivering)
The Podium part of the pathway is for riders who are prospective combinations for the next Championships and Olympics.
Selections are based on Senior Championship Performances.
Podium Pathway (Transitioning)
A recent edition to the programme, Podium Pathway is aimed at riders who have not yet won medals at Senior Championships but performance profiling indicates they have the potential to do so in the near future.
Podium Potential (Campaigning)
The Podium Potential programme focuses on horse and rider combinations to develop and optimise their performance for future Senior Championships.
Initial selections will be based on meeting a minimum performance criteria and then being invited to undertake a Performance Profile and discuss rider’s ‘Medal Winning Plan’
Podium Potential Pathway (Developing)
The Podium Potential Pathway is funded by both UK Sport and Sport England and looks to develop riders who demonstrate the potential to progress onto Podium Potential in the future even if they do not have the necessary Podium Potential horse power at this moment in time.
Age criteria: Riders up to the age of 25 years
The initial selections will be based on meeting minimum performance criteria and then riders will be invited to a ridden Programme Squad Training Session for the final selection.
