GREAT BRITAIN'S NATIONS CUP TEAMS TO RIDE AS TEAM NAF

The British Showjumping Senior Nations Cup teams along with the Children, Junior and Young Rider teams will be named Team NAF from the start of the 2017 season.

This new partnership represents the first time that a title sponsorship has brought together both the Youth and Senior Nations Cup teams competing on horses under one banner and will also include  the Children, Junior and Young Rider European Championship teams.

Maria Haig, Head of Communications for British Showjumping commented “NAF have been a terrific supporter of the sport for a number of years and for them to take on the title sponsorship of our teams is something we are extremely grateful for. Their support will greatly assist with our international performance objectives and we look forward to delivering the sponsorship alongside them during the year ahead.”

NAF said "We are very proud to be British and thrilled to announce our sponsorship of Great Britain’s Nations Cup and Youth European Championship Teams. Showjumpers at all levels feed our supplements, making this partnership an ideal fit for us. As Official Suppliers to British Equestrian Teams, our commitment to clean sport and efficacy is paramount to our joint success and we are looking forward to a wonderful and successful year of showjumping in 2017.”

Iain Graham, Chief Executive for British Showjumping furthered “British Showjumping welcome NAF as title sponsors of the four tiers of teams that will be competing on the international stage throughout the summer. Their support will allow us to build additional infrastructure around our international performance programmes from which we believe Great Britain will benefit from greatly in both the short and long term.”

NAF’s premium range of Five Star brands include Superflex, Superflex Senior, PROFEET, Optimum, Magic, Oestress and Respirator Boost with quality at the heart of everything they do. They are a UFAS (Universal Feed Assurance Scheme), GMP+ (International Feed Assurance Scheme) and BETA NOPS (Naturally Occuring Prohibited Substances) accredited company and this enables them to guarantee full traceability on all the natural ingredients they utilise in their formulations, which are also selected in compliance with the FEI guidelines for Clean Sport.

Under the ‘Team NAF’ banner, the Senior Nations Cup Teams are expected to compete at a minimum of ten Nations Cup events whilst the Children, Junior and Young Rider teams will make appearances across Europe at Nations Cup Level before heading to their European Championships in Slovakia during August.

The GBR showjumping teams are supported by the British Equestrian Federation’s World Class Programme, funded by UK Sport through the National Lottery. The Programme focuses on identifying talent, developing potential and maximising medal-winning performances on the world stage.
