KBIS British Equestrian Insurance to Continue Support of Senior British Novice Championship

Equestrian insurance specialists, KBIS British Equestrian Insurance, will be continuing with their established sponsorship of the British Showjumping Senior British Novice Championship for the ninth consecutive year.

The popular KBIS Insurance Senior British Novice Championship Series attracts over 39,000 starts in the first round competitions alone and it is for registered horses in Grade C that have not won a total of 125 points and they are to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members.

This year’s series will once again culminate during the British Showjumping National Championships at the National Agricultural and Exhibition Centre (NAEC), Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire (8th – 13th August 2017).

Based in Newbury, Berkshire KBIS is the UK’s leading independent horse insurance specialist. With over twenty-five years of experience, KBIS offer a range of policies for the leisure horse to high value sports horses with a range of veterinary cover options. KBIS’ product range also includes horsebox and trailer insurance and breakdown, property insurance, event and show insurance, standalone personal accident cover as well as specialist liability insurance.

In addition to their valued support of the Senior British Novice Championship, KBIS also sponsor up and coming young showjumper Alfie Bradstock as well as offering exclusive discounts to British Showjumping members. Members can benefit from up to 15% off property and liability insurance, 10% off horsebox insurance and 7.5% off their competition horse insurance.

“We are delighted to be continuing our support of the Senior British Novice for the ninth consecutive year. It is a great class to be involved with as the benefits of sponsorship reach so many, it also falls in line with our company ethos of supporting up and coming and grassroots riders and horses” said Guy Prest, Managing Director at KBIS.

Maria Haig, British Showjumping Head of Communications, added “The longevity of this alignment stands testament to KBIS’ commitment to supporting equestrian sport at grassroots level and we are grateful to them for their longstanding support of this popular series.”

Eligible combinations have been competing in the KBIS Insurance Senior British Novice First Rounds since 1st May 2016 and they have until the 30th April 2017 to qualify for the KBIS Insurance Senior British Novice Second Rounds. The Second Rounds will be held during May – July 2017.
