Chloe Reynolds wins the National 5 year old Championship Final

In the Porsche Centre Solihull Championship Arena 2, it was the turn of the five year olds to take to the arena. With 22 horse/rider combinations forward it was a wonderful display of up and coming talent from the young horses. The National 5 year old Championship is open to registered horses born in 2013 and the height of the fences start at 1.20m.

The 2018 National 5 year old Champion title went to Chloe Reynolds aboard the liver chestnut gelding, Darjeeling Desir. As last to go in the 10 horse jump off, the pressure was on for Chloe but she did not let this deter her from putting on a great display of talent.

“I first rode Darjeeling when he was a four year old but he was then produced by another rider. I only took the ride of him about two weeks ago so it is nice to be back riding him.” The pair also won the Connolly’s RED MILLS Senior Newcomers/1.10m Horse Open class earlier in the week.
