TO ALL SCOTTISH PONY PARENTS - PONY SHOW 8TH SEPT 2019

Over the past 48 hours we have been working with Morris EC to firstly ensure there is a Pony show this weekend in Scotland due to initial cancellation by another venue.

All Officials were in place but unfortunately the Course Designer, due to unforeseen circumstances, is now unable to be there on Sunday. All Course Designers have been contacted including a national call out from Head Office to try and find someone to build the pony ring.

No other venues were able to take this date.

Trying desperately to avoid cancellation of the Pony show on Sunday, after discussions with Head Office and Morris we have created a schedule to incorporate both, the Cat 1 & Pony show on Sunday in the indoor arena.

We had to include the Scottish Pony Parent Committee points league classes - 70cm to 1m, into this schedule and the Winters. We physically cannot fit in every class.

I would please ask that you do not complain to Morris EC as without them there would not be a Pony show in Scotland this weekend. I understand the change of schedule may not suit everyone and of course I sincerely apologise for that.

Our only other option was to cancel the show, which I hope you agree would have been detrimental to the Pony riders.
