Faye Adams and Demograaf were on top form to take the National 1.30m Open Championship Final

Faye Adams and 13-year-old Demograaf jumped to victory in the National 1.30m Open Championship. After a competitive first round consisting of forty-nine combinations, only eight made it through to the jump off, with Faye and Demograaf being the only combination to finish on a double clear in a time of 41.61 seconds.

When asked about Demograaf, Faye commented “He is really cheeky, super careful and loves to go fast, he only likes speed. He is really intelligent, we make a good partnership because we know exactly where we are going to struggle, and we know our strong points. He loves to be centre of attention, especially when winning and parading!”

Faye has been riding Demograaf over the last 4 years. and has been competed in showjumping since she was 5 years old. Faye has big plans to travel to Spain at the end of the year for some international competitions.

Nikki Freeman and Je Taime Romeras took second place finishing in 45.88 seconds, with Lucy Townley and Billy Skipper taking third finishing in 47.85 seconds.
