The Scope 1m Pony Bright Star Championship Qualifier
Eligible Pony/rider: - Open to registered ponies exceeding 138cms but not exceeding 148cms irrespective of points, to be ridden by Junior Members, excluding any rider on the 148cms Gold League List as of March 31st, 2024 and excluding any Pony/Rider combination having ever qualified for RIHS or HOYS.
Numbers to qualify: - Eligible Pony/Rider combination to record one double clear in the qualifying period 1st January to 31st July to qualify for the Scope Pony Bright Star 1m Championship at the Scope Festival, August 2025.
The Scope 90cms Novice Masters Championship Qualifier
Open to registered ponies that have not won a total of 300 Points, to be ridden by Junior Members. Rider's ages in accordance with Rule 77.12 and 77.13.
Numbers to qualify: - Eligible Pony to record one double clear in the qualifying period 1st January to 31st July to qualify for The Scope Novice Masters Championship Final at the Scope Festival, August 2025.
Double clears also recorded for the Pony Discovery first round (subject to Rule 408 eligibility criteria)
The Graham Heath Equestrian 128cms/138cms Primary Championship Qualifier
The Cats & Pipes 128cms/138cms Debut Championship Handicap Qualifier
Open to registered ponies not exceeding 138cms, to be ridden by Junior Members, ages in accordance with rule 77.12 & 77.13. This competition is open to all, however for qualification purposes, riders who have ever obtained points on the Gold League are not eligible for the final. Pony/Rider combinations who have ever obtained points on the Silver League are not eligible for the final.
Numbers to qualify: Eligible Pony/Rider combinations to record two double clears in the qualifying period 1st January to 31st July to qualify for The Cats & Pipes Championship Handicap Final at the Scope Festival, August 2025.
Double clears recorded in this class will also count towards qualification for the final of the Stepping Stones Championship(Subject to Stepping Stones eligibility criteria).
Double clears recorded in a Stepping Stones qualifier class during the Scope Festival qualification period 1st January to 31st July will also count towards qualification for the Cats & Pipes Debut Championship Handicap Final(Subject to above Cats & Pipes eligibility criteria).
The Graham Heath Equestrian 85cms Novice Championship Qualifier
For registered horses that have not won a total of 200 points to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members excluding any rider listed on the British Showjumping Gold League as of 31st March 2024. Club Members are NOT eligible.
Numbers to qualify: Eligible horse to record one double clear in the qualifying period 1st January to 31st July to qualify for The Graham Heath Equestrian Novice Championship at the Scope Festival, August 2025.
The Scope 95cms Open Championship Qualifier
For registered horses to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members, excluding any rider listed on the British Showjumping Gold League as of 31st March 2024. Club Members are NOT eligible.
Numbers to qualify: Eligible Horse/Rider combination to record one double clear in the qualifying period 1st January to 31st July to qualify for the 95cm Open Championship at the Scope Festival, August 2025.
The Scope 1m Novice Championship Qualifier
For registered horses that have not won a total of 225 points, to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members. Club Members are NOT eligible.
Numbers to qualify: Eligible horse to record one double clear in the qualifying period 1st January to 31st July to qualify for The Scope 1m Novice Championship at the Scope Festival, August 2025.
Double clears also recorded for the Senior Discovery 1st round (subject to Rule 314 eligibility criteria).
Scottish Branch 11Yrs Old & Under Championship
For registered ponies not exceeding 138cms in Grades: JA, JC & JD to be ridden by junior members born in or after the 1st of January 2014, ages in accordance with Rules 77.12 & 77.13. Single fences only. The winner on the day will receive the rosette, winnings and points. The Scottish Branch 11 & Under Championship Trophy will be presented to the highest placed Scottish rider registered & residing in Scotland at the Junior Awards Ball in 2025.
Scottish Branch Junior Scurry Championship
For registered ponies exceeding 128cms but not exceeding 148cms in Grades: JA, JC & JD to be ridden by junior members, ages in accordance with Rule 77.12. Single fences only. The winner on the day will receive the rosette, winnings and points. The Scottish Branch Scurry Championship Trophy will be presented to the highest placed Scottish rider registered & residing in Scotland at the Junior Awards Ball in 2025.
Scottish Branch 128cms Indoor Championship
For registered ponies not exceeding 128cms in Grades: JA, JC & JD to be ridden by junior members, ages in accordance with Rule 77.13. The winner on the day will receive the rosette, winnings and points. The Scottish Branch 128cms Indoor Championship Trophy will be presented to the highest placed Scottish rider registered & residing in Scotland at the Junior Awards Ball in 2025.
Scottish Branch 128cms Outdoor Championship
For registered ponies not exceeding 128cms in Grades: JA, JC & JD to be ridden by junior members, ages in accordance with Rule 77.13. The winner on the day will receive the rosette, winnings and points. The Scottish Branch 128cms Outdoor Championship Trophy presented to the highest placed Scottish rider registered & residing in Scotland at the Junior Awards Ball in 2025.

Scottish Branch 1m Amateur Championship
For registered riders in the Bronze league from 1st October 2024 and eligible for qualification to the Bronze league Semi-Finals and Championship 2025. Bronze league riders also in the concurrent Silver leagues are not eligible for this class. The winner on the day will receive the rosette, winnings and points. The Scottish Branch Amateur Championship Trophy will be presented to the highest placed Scottish rider registered & residing in Scotland at the Awards Ball in 2025.
Scottish Branch Indoor Open Championship
For registered horses to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members who will be aged 12 years or over in the current calendar year. The winner on the day will receive the rosette, winnings and points. The Scottish Branch Indoor Open Championship Trophy will be presented to the highest placed Scottish rider registered & residing in Scotland at the Awards Ball in 2025.
Scottish Branch Central Championship
For registered Horses to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior members who will be aged 12 years or over in the current calendar year. The winner on the day will receive the rosette, winnings and points. Scottish Branch Two Fence Challenge Championship
For registered Horses to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members . The winner on the day will receive the rosette, winnings and points. The Scottish Branch Puissance Championship Trophy will be presented to the highest placed Scottish rider registered & residing in Scotland at the Awards Ball in 2025.
Scottish Branch Young Riders Championship
For registered horses in Grades: A, B & C. Ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members who will be aged 12 years or over in the current calendar year. Riders aged 25 years & under. The winner on the day will receive the rosette, winnings and points. The Scottish Branch Young Riders Championship Trophy will be presented to the highest placed Scottish rider registered & residing in Scotland at the Awards Ball in 2025.
Scottish Branch Grade C Championship
For registered Grade C Horses to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members who will be aged 12 years or over in the current calendar year. The winner on the day will receive the rosette, winnings and points. The Scottish Branch Grade C Championship Trophy will be presented to the highest placed Scottish rider registered & residing in Scotland at the Awards Ball in 2025.
Scottish Branch Veterans Championship
For registered horses to be ridden by members 45 years and over in the current year who have not competed in classes above 1.30m in the current year. The winner on the day will receive the rosette, winnings and points. The Scottish Branch Veterans Championship Trophy will be presented to the highest placed Scottish rider registered & residing in Scotland at the Awards Ball in 2025.
Scottish Branch 1.20m Championship
For registered Horses to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members who will be aged 12 years or over in the current calendar year. The winner on the day will receive the rosette, winnings and points. The Scottish Branch 1.20m Championship Trophy will be presented to the highest placed Scottish rider registered & residing in Scotland at the Awards Ball in 2025.
Scottish Branch 1.10m Amateur Championship
For registered horses in Grades: A, B & C. Ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members who will be aged 12 years or over in the current calendar year. Riders on the Gold League between September 2024 & September 2025 are excluded from this competition. Riders who have ever competed as a team member of a Senior International Team, (Nations Cup, World, European Championship & Olympic Games are not eligible. Junior Riders & Young Riders who have ever competed in a Nations Cup, International & European Championships in the last 5 years are not eligible. Excluding Veteran & Home Pony Teams). The winner on the day will receive the rosette, winnings and points. The Scottish Branch 1.10m Amateur Championship Trophy will be presented to the highest placed Scottish rider registered & residing in Scotland at the Awards Ball in 2025.
The Liz Fox JC/JD Royal Highland Show Championship Qualifier
Open to registered ponies exceeding 138cm and not exceeding 148cms in Grades JC/JD to be ridden by Junior Members.
Course to include one double and one treble combination at a height of 1.05m.
Qualifies for: The Liz Fox JC/JD Royal Highland Show Championship Final at the Royal Highland Show. Competitors please note, multiple clears in the first round must jump off for final placings.
Numbers to qualify: First three pony/rider combinations will qualify, disregarding those already qualified, for the Final. Qualifiers must jump clear in the first round.
Entries will be limited in the Final to a maximum of two ponies per rider. Height of fences in Final 1.10m.
148cm Pony Royal Highland Show Championship Qualifier
Open to registered ponies exceeding 138cm and not exceeding 148cm to be ridden by Junior members.
Qualifies for: 148cm Pony Royal Highland Show Championship Final at the Royal Highland Show. Competitors please note, multiple clears in the first round must jump off for final placings.
Numbers to qualify: First three pony/rider combinations will qualify, disregarding those already qualified, for the Final. Qualifiers must jump clear in the first round.
Entries will be limited in the final to a maximum of two ponies per rider. Height of fences in Final 1.20m. (A10)
138cm Pony Royal Highland Show Championship Qualifier
Open to registered ponies exceeding 128cm and not exceeding 138cm to be ridden by Junior Members in accordance with Rule 77.12.
Qualifies for: 138cm Pony Royal Highland Show Championship Final at the Royal Highland Show. Competitors please note, multiple clears in the first round must jump off for final placings.

128cm Pony Royal Highland Show Championship Qualifier
Open to registered ponies not exceeding 128cm to be ridden by Junior members in accordance with Rule 77.13.
Qualifies for: 128cm Pony Royal Highland Show Championship Final at the Royal Highland Show. Competitors please note, multiple clears in the first round must jump off for final placings.
Numbers to qualify: First Three pony/rider combinations will qualify, disregarding those already qualified, for the Final. Qualifiers must jump clear in the first round.

The Andrew Hamilton, Coach RHS Championship Qualifier
For registered horses in Grade C not to have won a total of 700 points. With one oxer and one vertical at 1.30m near the end of the course.
Qualifies for: The Andrew Hamilton, Coach RHS Championship Final at the Royal Highland Show..
Numbers to qualify: First four horses to qualify, disregarding those already qualified, for the Final. To be eligible for qualification, combinations must jump clear in the first round.
Entries will be limited in the Final to a maximum of 3 horses per rider. Height of fences in final 1.30m A7.
The RHS Johnston Smillie Grade B&C Championship Qualifier
For registered horses in Grades B & C to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior members.
Qualifies for: The RHS Johnston Smillie Grade B & C Championship Final at the Royal Highland Show.
Numbers to qualify: First four horses will qualify, disregarding those already qualified, for the final. To be eligible for qualification, combinations must jump clear in the first round.
Course must include double and triple combination, and a water tray under either an oxer or a vertical.
Entries will be limited in the final to a maximum of 2 horses per rider.
Height of fences in the final 1.35, Table A7.
The Wright, Johnston & Mackenzie LLP RHS Young Masters Qualifier
This class is for registered horses of any grade to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members.
Qualifiers for: The Wright, Johnston & Mackenzie LLP RHS Young Masters Championship Final.
Qualifying riders will be taken from designated 1.30m Open Table A10 classes including Scottish Branch Championship 1.30m classes A10. To be eligible to qualify, riders must be aged 25 years or under as of 1st January 2025. NB – Riders eligible for qualification must declare at time of entry.
Numbers to qualify: The two highest placed eligible horse/rider combinations will qualify, disregarding those already qualified, for the Final. Qualifiers must jump clear in the first round.
Entries will be limited in the final to a maximum of 2 horses per rider.
Height of fences in final approx. 1.40m. A9.
The Ron Brady Sporthorses RHS Classic Championship Qualifier
For registered horses of any grade to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members, excluding riders who are listed on the British Showjumping Gold League as of 30th September 2024. Riders who have ever competed as a team member of any senior International Team (Nations Cup, World, European Championships and Olympic Games are not eligible). Pony riders, Children, Junior and Young Riders who have ever competed in Nations Cup/International Team Events and European Championships in the last five years are not eligible (Excluding Veteran and Home Pony Teams).
Qualifies for: The Ron Brady Sporthorses RHS Classic Championship Final at the Royal Highland Show.
Number to qualify: First four horse/rider combinations will qualify, disregarding those already qualified, for the Final. Qualifiers must jump clear in the first round.
Entries will be limited in the Final to a maximum of 2 horses per rider and to riders not competing in any open class of 1.40m or above at RHS.
Must include a double and a treble combination and a water tray.
Height of fences in the final 1.25, Table A10.
Bliss Of London Novice Winter Championship Qualifier
For registered horses in grade C which have not won a total of 125 points, (unless Age Rule applies) to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior members. Table: A7 or Single Phase if more than 50 entries Speed: 325mpm Rule: 316
The first 8 horses qualify for the final, held at the Blue Chip Winter Championships. Qualification does not pass down the line. Qualifiers must jump clear in the first round if A7 or clear in both phases if Single Phase. There will be dual qualification of double clears for the Equissage Pulse Senior British Novice second round. (Age rule applies)

Joshua Jones UK Winter Discovery Championship Qualifier

The first 8 horses qualify for the final, held at the Blue Chip Winter Championships. Qualification does not pass down the line. Qualifiers must jump clear in the first round if A7 or clear in both phases if Single Phase. There will be dual qualification of double clears for the Senior Newcomers second round. For registered horses in grade C which have not won a total of 700 points,(unless Age Rule applies) to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior members. Table: A7 or Single Phase if more than 50 entries
Speed: 350mpm Rule: 310
The first 8 horses qualify for the final, held at the Blue Chip Winter Championships. Qualification does not pass down the line. Qualifiers must jump clear in the first round if A7 or clear in both phases if Single Phase. There will be dual qualification of double clears for the Redpost Equestrian Senior Foxhunter second round. (Age rule applies)
This class can be scheduled with an open, in the event of 30 starters or more, the competition would be split into two. Horses may compete in one section only.
