British Showjumping in partnership with British Dressage are now able to offer First Aid courses which are equestrain specific.
The Course is a FAA Level 3 First Aid at Work (RQF) – With Equestrian-Specific Supplement run by Medi-K.
Medi-K Training are the leading provider of nationally recognised qualifications for Rider first aid training and is a high quality, dynamic training organisation with an outstanding reputation throughout the Equine industry.
This is a course in "Equestrian Specific" first aid and is taught by health care professionals that deal with these equestrian related injuries on a daily basis.This course also adheres to the Health & Safety Executive requirements and provides delegates with a nationally recognised First Aid qualification.
This course is suitable for anyone working within the equestrian industry (Coach, groom, rider or horse owner) wishing to gain knowledge of emergency procedures and attain a recognised qualification in First Aid.This course will give participants a qualification to the highest level.
This comprehensive three-day course covers a wide range of First Aid emergencies,enabling all Participants to deal with an emergency situation with confidence in a prompt,safe and effective way.
The three day course (9am - 5pm) costs £150 with the qualification lasting for three years with spaces for 12 participants.
Course 1: When Monday 19th October, Tuesday 20th October and Monday 26th October
Where BS National Training Centre, Home Farm, Hothope, Leicestershire.
Course 2: When Monday 7th December, Tuesday 8th December, Wednesday 16th December 2020
Where Checkendon Equestrian Centre, Lovegrove's Lane, Checkendon, Reading
