Targa Hammond is back in Dorset

Dorset Coach Targa Hammond is now back in the UK and providing training...

Message from Targa:

I have spent 6 months working alongside the Hong Kong Jockey Club, assisting in the preparation towards competing at the China national games in China. Of these 6 months, I spent 3 months based at Ludger Beerbaums Stables in Germany, working with the Showjumping horses. This included riding them, attending shows and working alongside our team HK riders. I then spent a month in quarantine in the UK working with the event horses, and dressage horses, assisting in the preparation to fly the horses to Beijing. We then flew all the horses to China and remained in solitary quarantine near Beijing for one month.
During August we moved the horses to our training base and met up with the whole of team Hong Kong and made our final preparations towards the Championships, where we managed to win a Silver and a Bronze medal.

I have now returned to the UK with an abundance of motivation, inspiration and enthusiasm to start coaching, riding and competing once again. It has been an incredible 6 months, but I now look forward to seeing both existing, and new clients at our forthcoming academy training dates.
